Message from the Principal

Principal Chris Trimble - A man with short brown hair smiles at the camera.Dear Families,

Welcome to a new school year! Whether your child is just beginning their educational journey in Kindergarten or preparing for the transition to high school in 8th grade, we’re so excited to partner with you. At our school, we believe that a strong connection between home and school is the foundation for every student’s success.

We’re committed to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where students can grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Your involvement, whether it’s helping with homework, encouraging reading, or simply asking about your child’s day, makes a meaningful difference.

Here are a few ways you can support your child’s learning at home:

  • Establish a consistent routine: Having a regular time and quiet space for homework or reading helps students stay focused and organized.
  • Encourage a love of reading: Whether your child is learning letter sounds or diving into chapter books, reading every day builds confidence and skills.
  • Limit screen time: Help your child find a healthy balance between technology and other activities like reading, outdoor play, or family time.
  • Celebrate growth and effort: Recognize your child’s hard work and progress, it encourages resilience and a positive attitude toward learning.
  • Support healthy habits: A good night’s sleep, nutritious meals, and physical activity help students stay alert and ready to learn.
  • Stay connected with us: Use ParentSquare to keep in touch with your child’s teacher, ask questions, and stay informed about school events and opportunities.

We’re so grateful to work alongside you and your family. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or the school office; we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Wishing you a wonderful school year ahead!

Warmly,

Chris Trimble
